The Kāmahi Tree (Weinmannia racemosa)
Kāmahi is an evergreen small shrub to medium-sized tree, one of the most abundant in New Zealand forests. It thrives from the central North Island to Stewart Island, populating lowland, montane, and subalpine forests.
From July to January, Kāmahi produces racemes of delicate pink or white flowers, which are the source of this exceptional honey. The resulting nectar captures the purity of New Zealand’s native forests, creating a honey that is distinctive, rare, and natural.
